Get Plugged In
Cru has many opportunities for your own spiritual and personal development as well as serving others – both locally and around the world.
International Trips
- We send students to Berlin, Germany and Zambia, Africa on both spring break trips and over the summer for a six week project. This is an opportunity to experience a new culture (sightseeing, food, people, and culture), to be involved in international ministry and to work with a team whose common purpose is to make Christ known on the college campus.
Summer Projects
- Summer projects offer great training and ministry experience. If you want to grow deeper in your relationship with God and heart for the lost world around you, a U.S. summer project may be a great choice for you. On project, you will be with 30-150 other students who also desire to grow in their walk with God, in how to share Jesus with lost people, and to learn some great ministry skills to take back to campus in the fall.

Service
- Check out Gain’s Website for tons of opportunities. Gain is Cru’s Humanitarian Aid branch.
- Haiti – The earthquake in January, 2010, has opened the door for a renewed spiritual awakening and establishment of life changing opportunities for the people of Haiti.
- India – This summer project has a two-fold focus: developing and raising up leaders through traditional campus ministry, and ministering in orphanages and to those caught up in human trafficking.
- Zambia – Good New, Good Deeds Ministries sends students to the universities for traditional campus ministry, and going into tribal villages, ministering to orphans, and showing the Jesus Film.
- Here’s Life Inner City – Chicago: The ministry seeks to reach the whole person, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our vision is inspired by both the Great Commission—to go out and make disciples—and the Great Commandment—to love your neighbor as yourself.
